1. Good morning Cougs! Today is Thursday, October 3rd. Keep walking right and talking right while speaking at a level 1 volume in the halls. Cell phones and wireless earbuds should be stored away and out of sight the entire school day, even during lunch. This is a reminder that KPMS is a fragrance-free school. Please support the healthy breathing of all humans by keeping fragrances at home.
2. Our soccer and volleyball teams are on the road today, taking on the Falcons of Harbor Ridge. Wish our student-athletes luck and keep encouraging them throughout the season. We are grateful for their effort, grit, and perseverance as they represent Cougar Nation!
3. Today is the last day to finish up iReady Reading or Math testing in Cougar Academy. Testing results will be sent out to families on Friday.
4. Clubs are rolling! Crochet Club meets on Mondays, Drama Club on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Tech Club on Tuesdays and Thursdays, PRIDE Club on Wednesdays, Cougar Catch-Up on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Art Club starts on Tuesday, October 8th and Cooking Club via Zoom on October 9th. You can pick up permission slips in the main office.
5. Don't forget about Frosty Friday tomorrow. We will have passes for students to be able to purchase frosty treats. You will receive a Frosty Pass by being seated, having a clean table, and raising your hand. Staff will give you a pass to take up to the student store so you can purchase your frosty treat. You will still need money to purchase ice cream.
6. Our first KPMS Spirit Day is tomorrow. The theme is "Future Day" where students are encouraged to dress up based on what they think fashion will look like in the future. This includes a future job or career, or future clothing trends. The yearbook team will be snapping picks throughout the day to capture school spirit!
