1. Good morning Cougs! Today is Friday, October 4th. Keep walking right and talking right while speaking at a level 1 volume in the halls. Cell phones and wireless earbuds should be stored away and out of sight the entire school day, even during lunch. This is a reminder that KPMS is a fragrance-free school. Please support the healthy breathing of all humans by keeping fragrances at home.
2. Our soccer and volleyball teams took on the Falcons of Harbor Ridge. Girls volleyball put on a smashing performance and took their first set of the season. Boys soccer tied their first match and just barely missed out on a win in the second. Cross Country athletes showed a ton of growth and Stella Harding got 1st in her race while also breaking a school record by over a minute. Tucker Harding also won his race and broke a new school record. The team all ran an amazing race and lots of new personal records were made. We are grateful for their effort, grit, and perseverance as they represent Cougar Nation!
3. Please complete the September Sense of Belonging survey today in Cougar Academy if you haven't already.
4. Today is Frosty Friday. We will have passes for students to be able to purchase frosty treats. You will receive a Frosty Pass by being seated, having a clean table, and raising your hand. Staff will give you a pass to take up to the student store so you can purchase your frosty treat. You will still need money to purchase ice cream. Also, thank you to 1st lunch for showing expected behavior and capturing the full honor time experience. 2nd lunch…many of your peers would appreciate the full honor time experience.
5. The Cougar Pride Store will be open today at lunch. Keep saving up those points and displaying Perseverance, Responsibility, Integrity, Dignity, and Excellence to earn points.
6. Our first KPMS Spirit Day is today. Way to rock that Future gear. The yearbook team will be snapping picks throughout the day to capture school spirit!
