10/11/24
1. Good morning Cougs! Today is Friday, October 11th. Keep walking right and talking right while speaking at a level 1 volume in the halls. Cell phones and wireless earbuds should be stored away and out of sight the entire school day, even during lunch. Please clean up after yourself or others at lunch and remain seated in the cafeteria so we can experience all of honor time.
2. This is a reminder that KPMS is a hate-free environment where all people, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender, disability, national origin, or ancestry are to be respected and celebrated. Words matter and character counts!
3. This is a reminder that we are having our first all-school assembly this Monday, October 14th. A renowned national speaker, Justin Washington will be joining us to present on the Power of Words. We will start in 1st period on Monday and you will attend the assembly with your first period class. This is a formal assembly and expectations are that we show respect and engage fully with the presenter.
4. Our soccer and volleyball teams took on the Roadrunners at Goodman yesterday. The girls displayed a tremendous amount of growth and grit. The 8th grade team won one set and barely lost the other two. Boys soccer pulled off wins against Goodman and showed why they are one of the top teams in the league. Keep cheering on and encouraging our student-athletes as they represent Cougar Nation this season!
5. This is a reminder that Crochet Club is canceled on Monday. Also, remember that Cougar Catch up is available every Tuesday and Thursday with Mrs. Kaizer. This is a great opportunity to get academic support and assistance on missing work.
6. Remember that today is Frosty Friday and the Cougar Pride Store will be open in the Cougar Cafe during lunch and honor time. Please remember that you can only line up to purchase frosty treats with a pass. Be seated with your table clean and raise your hand if you need a pass.
Friday Riddle: What goes z to a?
Let's make it a great day and continue to display kindness and respect toward all members of our school community!
