11/26/24
1. Good morning Cougs! Today is Tuesday, November 26th. As we close out the month of November celebrating and recognizing Native American Heritage Month, let’s keep an open mind to the cultures, beliefs, and experiences shared by Native communities throughout history. Let’s remember that Native cultures are alive and thriving today. Native American Indian and Alaska Native peoples continue to contribute to our communities as artists, scientists, leaders, and educators. This month, and every month, let’s celebrate diversity in our community!
2. Continue to walk right and talk right while speaking at a level 1 volume in the halls. Cell phones and wireless earbuds should be stored away and out of sight. Keep getting to class on time, with your materials, and your backpacks stored in your locker. Don't end up on Mr. G's Friday tardy report.
3. Cougar Wrestling have their first home match against the Falcons of Harbor Ridge today after school. We are excited to host our first home match. Remember that if you are attending, you may not leave campus and return. Please exhibit expected behavior and positive sportsmanship. Concessions will be available and sold by our amazing Tech Club! Let's continue to encourage and support our student athletes in giving their best effort and representing Cougar Nation proud!
4. Remember that there is no school tomorrow. We hope everyone gets to enjoy the Thanksgiving break and can take a moment to express gratitude and reflect on ways we can serve others to build a positive community.
Let's make it a great day and continue to display kindness, respect, and inclusion toward all members of our school community!
