December 9, 2024
12/9/24
1. Good morning Cougs! Today is Monday, December 9th. Please continue to walk right and talk right while speaking at a level 1 volume in the halls. Cell phones and wireless earbuds should be stored away and out of sight for the entirety of the school day and keep getting to class on time, with your materials, and your backpacks stored in your locker. Remember to remain seated in the cafeteria and that no food or drink is allowed outside or in the hallways. Thanks for exhibiting expected behavior and contributing positively to a school community we can be proud of!
2. Cougar Wrestling takes on the Falcons of Harbor Ridge tomorrow for their final away regular season match and then we have the District Championship Meet this Thursday at PHS from 3-8 pm. Let's continue to encourage and support our student-athletes in giving their best effort and representing Cougar Nation proud as we wrap up a fantastic season!
3. We can't wait for the girls basketball season to start up after winter break. Girls basketball registration is open! Coaches are looking for a large turnout, so get registered on our website through final forms. If you have questions please connect with the main office and ensure you have all the registration forms and a current physical on file so you are ready to go right after break.
4. On Wednesday, the choir will be attending its annual trip to Mustard Seed to sing at the Santa for Seniors luncheon. All choir students will need to go to 2nd lunch that day.
5. This Thursday, December 12th at 6 pm, Drama Club will show off their hard work so far this year with a showcase. Come on out to see our Cougar Drama Club in the spotlight as they perform short plays and songs.
6. In an effort to bring some much needed help to our community, KPMS will be running a food drive competition in Cougar Academy starting today and running until December 20th. Please bring non-perishable food items to your Cougar Academy to help feed those in our Key Peninsula Community who are in need. Food items that will be accepted are anything that would be on a shelf in a grocery store. Items include canned goods and anything that would be in a box. The Cougar Academy with the most items donated will have a party thrown for them by Ms. Janice when we get back from winter break. Let's do our best for our community! Thank you Cougs!
