1. Good morning Cougs! Today is Monday, January 27th. Please continue to walk right and talk right while speaking at a level 1 volume in the halls. Keep cell phones and wireless earbuds stored away and out of sight for the entirety of the school day and keep getting to class on time, with your materials, and your backpacks stored in your locker. 2. Girls Basketball have their first home game tomorrow vs. the Coyotes of Kopachuck. Please remember that if you are staying for the game, you may not leave campus and return. Please exhibit expected behavior and show sportsmanship by rooting for the teams and not against. Go Cougs!
3. Also, girls soccer and boys basketball begins February 24th right after mid-winter break. Get signed up ASAP and ensure all of the necessary registration forms are complete. Registration is open now, don't delay.
3. As we continue diving into 2025, we want to invite all students and staff to join us in participating in College and Career Wednesdays. Wear your college or career gear every Wednesday. This could be a college you want to attend or that your family attended, or a career you are passionate about pursuing in the future.
4. This Wednesday is our winter Beginning Band concert. Come on out and see the growth and skill of our amazing Beginning Band! The show starts at 7pm in the KPMS gym.
5. The end of semester 1 is this Thursday, January 30th. Finish the semester strong and get any missing work completed and turned in now.
6. This is a reminder that the only exit to parent pickup or the pathway to Volunteer Park is down by the gym. This is the same exit we take to honor time. Do not exit any other doors and cross traffic.
7. Please complete the January Sense of Belonging survey this week. The link can be found in grade level Schoology folders and there is one question about letting us know what items you'd like to see added to the Cougar Pride Store. Answer it and help us, help you!
