1. Good morning Cougs! Today is Wednesday, January 29th. Please continue to walk right and talk right while speaking at a level 1 volume in the halls. Keep cell phones and wireless earbuds stored away and out of sight for the entirety of the school day and keep getting to class on time, with your materials, and your backpacks stored in your locker. 2. Yearbooks are on sale now and will be selling through February 28th. Get them while they last. Yearbooks are $33 and a great way to hold on to lasting memories for years to come.
3. Last night the Lady Cougars fought to the final buzzer against the Kopachuck Coyotes.
- Highlights from the 8th-grade game include gritty defense by Sophia Arglen and Eeva Markwith, excellent offense from Berlin Lyman and Adlee Wardean, and vital teamwork and support from Serenity Purjue, Daisy Boman, and Evelyn McAllister. Great job ladies!
- Highlights from the 7th-grade game are the all-around improvement on offense and defense from a week ago. Lily Brockert and Mercy Ice showed leadership and courage, Talia Faulkner showed determination to get her team points, and Lily Stewart, Maddyson Nieman, Haylee Hernandez, and Harper Bows all gained more confidence on the floor. Excellent job 7th grade!

4. Girls soccer and boys basketball begins February 24th right after mid-winter break. Get signed up ASAP and ensure all of the necessary registration forms are complete. Registration is open now, don't delay.
5. Tonight is our winter Beginning Band concert. Come on out and see the growth and skill of our amazing Beginning Band! The show starts at 7 pm in the KPMS gym. Be there!
6. The end of semester 1 is this Thursday, January 30th. Finish the semester strong and get any missing work completed and turned in now. You can look in PowerSchool to find your 3rd quarter schedule. Let's kick off the third quarter strong and engage fully in teaching and learning.
