1. Good morning Cougs! Today is Thursday, April 10th. Today in recognition of Month of the Military Child we have a student that wanted to remain classified but shared they have had to move 6 times in their short life! Other than Washington, they have lived in Mississippi, and Maine (where they recalled playing in snow that got up to 10 feet!) In Southern California, they vividly remember the great weather and palm trees and were not a fan of their time in S Carolina due to the sticky humidity in the summer. They shared the hardest part has been not knowing what their Dad has seen or knowing when he is coming back, but is super proud of him and how smart he is! Thank you for rocking those purple colors in honor and solidarity of our amazing military students!

2. Please continue to walk right and talk right while speaking at a level 1 volume in the halls. Keep cell phones and wireless headphones and earbuds stored away and out of sight for the entirety of the school day and keep getting to class on time, with your materials, and your backpacks stored in your locker. Thanks for exhibiting expected behavior and contributing positively to a school community we can be proud of. Words matter and character counts!
3. Thank you to our ASB leaders, Mr. Rivera and amazing staff members that planned and supported yesterday’s Social. Your time, effort, and leadership made for a fantastic experience.
4. Remember that our 3rd Quarter Awards and Recognition Assembly will be at the end of 1st period. Please exhibit expected behavior as we recognize and celebrate students for their effort and growth throughout the quarter. 
5. Today is the end of Quarter 3. Quarter 4 begins when we return from Spring Break. Please take a look at your Quarter 4 schedule in PowerSchools prior to the Monday after break so you know you are ready to roll as soon as you get back from break. All Quarter 3 grades will be updated by April 25th.
