6/2/25

1. Good morning, Cougs! Today is Monday, June 2nd…Remember as we move into the final stretch and enjoy end-of-year festivities, participation isn't guaranteed. Expected behavior will be your ticket to participating in the festivities. We will be holding our 8th grade ceremony, dance/social on June 17th starting at 6pm at KPMS. We will be holding our KPMS field day for all students that are eligible on June 18th with the inflatable dance dome, inflatable obstacle course, games, prizes, and food.
2. And now for the best of news from Mr. Rivera…At 8:19am on Friday, May 30th, Mrs. Rivera gave birth to Vivian Louise Rivera at 6 pounds 11 ounces and 19.75 inches long. The Rivera family is now home; resting and adjusting to their new life together. The baby is happy, healthy, and hungry! If you'd like to see Vivian, look for pictures to be added to the slideshow in the commons at lunch! Mr. and Mrs. Rivera say hello and thank you for the thoughts and well wishes.
3. Our amazing KPMS Drama Club put on three outstanding performances of Forgiven: A FairyTale through the weekend! They showed amazing perseverance, skill, and humor throughout each show and we want to give a huge shoutout to all of the cast, crew, Mrs. Gregory, Mrs. Smith, and Ms. Shrock for the time and effort that went into making this year's production a smashing success!
4. Permission slips for the JA field trip this Thursday and Friday went out last week. Permission slips for PSD and Junior Achievement, along with all required lessons you've been working on in your math class need to be completed to attend. This is a great opportunity to get some real-world experience around personal financial management in an engaging way along with putting your math skills to work. Get it done!
