Announcements 11/25
1. Good morning, Cougs! Today is Tuesday, November 25th. As Native American and Alaska Native Heritage Month comes to a close, let’s remember that learning and honoring Indigenous cultures doesn’t end in November. It’s something we can do all year long by listening, learning, and showing respect for the First Peoples of this land.
2. Please continue to show respect to peers, staff members, and yourself by exhibiting expected behavior and positive language that is supportive and encouraging. It takes all of us to ensure an inclusive school community where everyone can thrive socially and academically. Remember that words matter and character counts!
3. KPMS wrestling has its first home match today after school against the Falcons of Harbor Ridge. Remember that if you are staying for the match, you may not leave campus and return. Please show all student athletes, coaches, and referees respect and cheer positively for our team and not against the other team. Go Cougs!
4. The People of Color Club is moving to Tuesdays starting next week. Also, next week, on Tuesday, Dec 2nd, the PHS People of Color Club is coming to visit! We will have pizza, drinks, and snacks! It will be our last meeting of 2025, so come on out and don't forget that it is not too late to join. Snag a permission slip in the main office!
5. Remember that today is the last day of the school week. Thanksgiving break begins tomorrow. Have a happy Thanksgiving and spend time reflecting on what you are grateful for. Gratitude is the attitude.
