1. Good morning, Cougs! Today is Wednesday, December 3rd. Please continue to walk right and talk right while speaking at a level 1 volume in the halls. Keep cell phones and wireless HEADPHONES and earbuds stored away and out of sight for the entirety of the school day. Remember to stay within your personal bubble, keeping your hands and feet to yourself. Please take care of our school and report acts of vandalism right away by completing an incident report in the office or emailing Mrs. Kinney or Mr. G. It takes all of us to ensure an inclusive, safe, and respectful school community where everyone can thrive socially and academically. Remember that words matter and character counts!
2. KPMS wrestling had their second home match yesterday after school against the Coyotes of Kopachuck. Cougar wrestlers showed out with great spirit, effort, and perseverance throughout the match. The growth from the start of the season was on full display. The final home match of the season is tomorrow against the Roadrunners of Goodman. Come on out and cheer on our amazing student athletes. Go Cougs!
3. Right after wrestling, our KPMS band displayed their effort and growth at our winter band concert. They brought the holiday cheer and represented Cougar Nation proudly. A huge shoutout to our band and Ms. Kaal for their dedication and effort all year long!
4. The girls' basketball season starts up after the holiday break, and registration is open now. Register now and get all of your registration forms and physicals completed so you are ready to go. We are excited to get the girls' basketball season rolling and encourage any interested student-athletes to sign up and participate.
5. Remember that the People of Color Club moved to Tuesdays and, contrary to yesterday's announcement, will have one more meeting on Tuesday, December 16th. Come on out, and don't forget that it is not too late to join. Snag a permission slip in the main office!
6. We will be having the 8th-grade level assembly in the commons right after announcements tomorrow. Teachers, please take attendance and bring your students to the commons as soon as possible.
