Announcements 3/18
1. Good morning, Cougs! Today is Wednesday, March 18th. Please continue to walk right and talk right while keeping to a level 1 volume and staying within your personal bubble. The student store and nutritions services snack bar is open for 2nd lunch, but closed for 1st lunch today. We are hopeful that students in 1st lunch will remember that the student store and nutrition services snack bar is a privilege and to take responsibility for keeping the cafeteria clean, socialize at a level 1 volume, stay seated until released for honor time unless throwing garbage away, and transition from honor time to class at a level 1 volume.
2. Also, please ensure you are consuming food in the cafeteria and not eating in the hallways or classroom. Food items left behind are attracting ant trails and is one of the reasons we expect food to be eaten in the cafeteria.
3. Please take a moment to reflect and remember that words hold power. KPMS is a hate-free environment, and any form of discriminatory language or behavior will not be tolerated and will result in corrective action. Please go out of your way to be an upstander and address or report discriminatory language or behavior if you witness it. It takes our entire school community to stand up to discrimination and to develop a safe and inclusive culture where everyone has the opportunity to succeed. Words matter, and character counts!
4. We are so proud of the growth, effort, and grit our student athletes put on display yesterday at their first home game. They represented Cougar Nation proudly, and we can't wait to watch them develop as the season progresses. Go Cougs!
5. The lost and found is filling up and we will be donating all remaining items on Friday, March 27th. Please ensure you are finding your lost items and being proactive about keeping track of your stuff!
