Announcements 6/15

1. Good morning, Cougs...today is Monday, June 15th. Keep walking right and talking right while keeping to a level 1 volume and staying within your personal bubble. Continue to keep voices to a level one, walking in from honor time and to class, and taking responsibility for keeping the cafeteria clean. This is another reminder to 6th and 7th graders, that expected behavior is directly connected to your eligibility to field day and for 8th graders the Lake Helena field trip and 8th grade dance after the Moving on Ceremony. Finish strong and make it happen, Cougs!
2. Chromebook check-in begins today for 6th graders and tomorrow for 7th/8th graders during their Social Studies classes. Please take time to remove all personal additions like stickers, artwork, and writings. Do not use liquid to clean the Chromebook as it will cause more damage than the stickers. Fines will be assessed and are expected to be paid before you leave for summer break.
3. We are thrilled to announce that the 2026-2027 KPMS Advanced Band has been invited to perform at the prestigious Washington Music Educators Association (WMEA) 2027 Conference in Yakima, WA. This is an incredible honor and a testament to the dedication and hard work of each and every member of the band and Ms. Kaal. This is an amazing accolade, and we are the first middle school in the Peninsula School District to perform at this event.
4. Attention 8th graders! Lake Helena permission slips are due today! Please ensure this is signed so you can attend the field trip. If your eligibility status is still up in the air, sign it anyways so you don't have to scramble at the last minute.
5. Get your yearbooks while they last. There are still a few left for purchase. When they are gone, they are gone!
Grab your stuff from the lost and found!!!
