1. Good morning Cougs! Today is Tuesday, January 14th. Please continue to walk right and talk right while speaking at a level 1 volume in the halls. Keep cell phones and wireless earbuds stored away and out of sight for the entirety of the school day and keep getting to class on time, with your materials, and your backpacks stored in your locker. Thanks for exhibiting expected behavior and contributing positively to a school community we can be proud of. Remember that words matter and character counts!
2. As we head into the last 3 weeks of the semester, please take a moment to check your grades, check-in with your teachers, and complete any missing assignments. Remember that Cougar Catch-Up is available every Tuesday and Thursday after school with Mrs. Kaiser.
3. Auditions continue for Forgiven: A Fairytale today after school. If you haven't had a chance to show off your skills, feel free to join us and try out your acting chops!
4. Freaky Friday is coming this Friday, the 17th! Students are encouraged to dress like a teacher or staff member, and teachers and staff members are encouraged to dress like students! We're looking forward to seeing your creativity and silliness on display.
5. Are you ready…iReady. Remember to give your best effort as we use the data to inform scheduling decisions regarding support and intervention classes. Please remember to bring your fully charged Chromebook and wired headphones or earbuds. Let's show some pride in our learning efforts this year and make things a little competitive. Any Cougar Academy that has every student with a fully charged Chromebook and wired headphones will receive 5 Cougar Pride points per student and we are going to reward the top 30 students at EACH grade level that show the highest growth with a Cougar Academy Donut Extravaganza in the commons during Cougar Academy. Give your best and don't stress about the rest.
