1. Good morning Cougs! Today is Monday, March 10th. We continue to recognize and celebrate Women's History Month throughout March. From science and politics to sports and the arts, women have shaped our world in powerful ways. Let’s take this opportunity to learn, reflect, and appreciate the impact of women past and present! Today we recognize Ruth Bader Ginsburg who was a Supreme Court Justice who spent her career fighting for gender equality and women's rights under the law. Her legacy continues to shape justice in America.
2. Please continue to walk right and talk right while speaking at a level 1 volume in the halls. Keep cell phones and wireless HEADPHONES and earbuds stored away and out of sight for the entirety of the school day and keep getting to class on time, with your materials, and your backpacks stored in your locker. Please remember there is to be no food or drink in the hallways or outside during honor time. Please take pride in our campus and do your part to keep it clean. Thanks for exhibiting expected behavior and contributing positively to a school community we can be proud of.
3. This is a reminder that KPMS is a hate free environment where all people, regardless of race, color, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin or ancestry, or disability are to be respected and celebrated. Thank you for contributing to an inclusive school community to continue to promote a sense of belonging for all!
4. Track and field registration is open and you can get signed up through FinalForms on our school website. We have almost 50 students currently signed up with a goal of reaching 80. Get registered and ensure you have all of the necessary forms completed. It is going to be an amazing season and a great time to build relationships, meet new friends, and grow in your pursuit of personal goals. Go Cougs!
5. We've just installed a foot brush on the outside of the wall as you entire the building from honor time. Please use the newly installed brush for your shoes so that we aren't tracking dirt and debris throughout the building and maintain our beautiful school.
