1. Good morning Cougs! Today is Thursday, April 24th. Please continue to walk right and talk right while speaking at a level 1 volume in the halls. Keep cell phones and wireless headphones, and earbuds stored away and out of sight for the entirety of the school day, and keep getting to class on time, with your materials and your backpacks stored in your locker. Thanks for exhibiting expected behavior and contributing positively to a school community we can be proud of. Words matter, and character counts!
2. This week, we pause to celebrate and recognize our Administrative Professionals. Thank you to Ms. Trivette and Ms. Jaime for their hard work and dedication to students, staff, and families. Take a moment to pop into the main office and thank them for what they do each and every day to serve our school community!
3. Attention 6th, 7th, and 8th grade girls, the Career and Pathway Expo will be held this year on Saturday, May 10th from 9:00 am - 1:30 pm at Harbor Ridge Middle School. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on day of exploration to learn about Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math careers. There are flyers and posters around school to sign up and connect with your Science teacher if you have any questions.
4. We are excited to introduce the newest edition to our KPMS ASB Clubs with our People of Color Club! Join us today, April 24th after school for the first-ever KPMS People of Color Club meeting. All colors and cultures are welcome and encouraged to attend. The meeting will be held in Mrs. Fairbanks' classroom, room 203. All are welcome today, but if you are planning to join the club, please get the registration form from the main office for future participation.
5. Spirit day is tomorrow, and the theme is "twin day". Students are encouraged to dress like one or more people. Put on your spirit and twin it up!
