1. Good morning Cougs! Today is Friday, April 25th. Please continue to walk right and talk right while speaking at a level 1 volume in the halls. Keep cell phones and wireless headphones, and earbuds stored away and out of sight for the entirety of the school day, and keep getting to class on time, with your materials and your backpacks stored in your locker. Thanks for exhibiting expected behavior and contributing positively to a school community we can be proud of. Words matter, and character counts!
2. As we wrap up Administrative Professionals Appreciation Week, take a moment to pop into the main office and thank Mrs. Trivette and Ms. Jaime for what they do each and every day to serve our school community. Our appreciation and gratitude extend far beyond this week.
3. Attention 6th, 7th, and 8th grade girls, the Career and Pathway Expo will be held this year on Saturday, May 10th from 9:00 am - 1:30 pm at Harbor Ridge Middle School. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on day of exploration to learn about Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math careers. There are flyers and posters around school to sign up and connect with your Science teacher if you have any questions.
4. The People of Color Club held their first meeting yesterday and appreciated the engagement of all students and staff that participated. As we move forward please consider joining the club and learning, growing, and building a culture of inclusion and belonging. All colors and cultures are welcome and encouraged to attend. To join the club, please pickup a registration form from the main office.
5. Shout-out to students that twinned it up today! Thanks for adding spirit to our school community.
