Announcements 10/29

1. Good morning, Cougs! Today is Wednesday, October 29th. We continue recognizing Bullying Prevention and Awareness and Disability History & Awareness month. Did you know? One in four people in the U.S. has a disability. Disabilities can be visible or invisible, like ADHD, dyslexia, or anxiety, so always choose kindness; you never know what someone might be managing.
2. Please continue to walk right and talk right while speaking at a level 1 volume in the halls. Keep cell phones and wireless HEADPHONES and earbuds stored away and out of sight for the entirety of the school day. Remember to stay within your personal bubble, keeping your hands and feet to yourself. Please feel free to make origami outside of school and refrain from adding sharp objects that create a safety hazard, and follow dumb TikTok trends.
3. Conferences continue today and into the evening. Conferences are arena style, where families can pop around to different teachers from 12:15-3:30 pm and 3:30-6:30 pm. Today's bell schedule is CA, 1, 2, 3, and tomorrow is CA, 4, 5, 6. Only students who are purchasing a grab-and-go lunch are released at 11:25 to pick up their lunch before heading home. Please line up in an orderly fashion, remain at a level 1 volume, and do not open or eat your lunch until you arrive home.
4. Remember that wrestling season is right around the corner. Wrestling is open to boys and girls of all grade levels and abilities. No previous wrestling experience required. Registration details and forms can be found on our school website and are open until October 31st to be cleared for the first practice.
5. Remember that Friday's spirit day is costume day. Please ensure that you follow district dress code policies and are following the expectations of:
