Announcements 12/2

1. Good morning, Cougs! Today is Tuesday, December 2nd. Please continue to walk right and talk right while speaking at a level 1 volume in the halls. Keep cell phones and wireless HEADPHONES and earbuds stored away and out of sight for the entirety of the school day. Remember to stay within your personal bubble, keeping your hands and feet to yourself. Please take care of our school and report acts of vandalism right away by completing an incident report in the office or emailing Mrs. Kinney or Mr. G. It takes all of us to ensure an inclusive school community where everyone can thrive socially and academically. Remember that words matter and character counts!
2. In the spirit of safety, inclusivity, and the power of words, please remember that KPMS is a hate-free environment where all people, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability, are respected and celebrated. Thank you for developing a sense of belonging for all and for developing an inclusive culture. It takes all of us to ensure an inclusive school community where everyone can thrive socially and academically. Remember that words matter and character counts!
3. KPMS wrestling has its second home match today after school against the Coyotes of Kopachuck. Remember that if you are staying for the match, you may not leave campus and return. Please show all student athletes, coaches, and referees respect and cheer positively for our team and not against the other team. Go Cougs!
4. This is a reminder that tonight is the Fall band concert starting at 7pm in the gym. Come on out and enjoy the beautiful sounds of our amazing KPMS Band under the direction of Ms. Kaal!
5. Remember that the People of Color Club is moving to Tuesdays starting this week and will be meeting today after school with the PHS People of Color Club! We will have pizza, drinks, and snacks! It will be our last meeting of 2025, so come on out and don't forget that it is not too late to join. Snag a permission slip in the main office!
6. We will be having the 6th-grade level assembly in the commons right after announcements. Teachers, please take attendance and bring your students to the commons as soon as possible.
