1. Good morning, Cougs! Today is Monday, December 15th. Please continue to walk right and talk right while speaking at a level 1 volume in the halls, and remember that it takes all of us to ensure an inclusive, safe, and respectful school community where everyone can thrive socially and academically. Words matter, and character counts!
2. Cougar Wrestling wrapped up an amazing season at the District Wrestling Tournament on Friday night. The gym was packed, and the effort and grit of our wrestlers were on full display. Many of our wrestlers took first in their weight class, but ultimately, Harbor Ridge got the team win. We are so proud of our student-athletes, coaches, managers, and families for all of the hard work, dedication, and support shown throughout the season. Go Cougs!
3. A huge shoutout to our amazing PTSA for putting on Cougar Movie Night this past Friday. Thank you for providing the opportunity to cozy in and enjoy Home Alone, hang with friends, and enjoy so many amazing treats. We appreciate your continued dedication to our school community!
4. This week, the Holiday store will be open Monday through Friday during lunches. You will need a pass, so keep exhibiting expected behavior in the lunch room so you can shop till you drop. You will take your pass to the library and line up in an orderly fashion. Only a certain number of students will be let in at a time. Please be patient, show respect, and enjoy the shopping experience. The store will be open all week during lunches so don't fret if you don't get in earlier in the week.
5. Also, our winter social is this Thursday after school. Tickets will go on sale during lunches today. They are $3 w/ASB, $4 w/out, and $5 if you wait until Thursday morning. Tickets will not be sold at the door, so remember to buy them before Thursday.
