Announcements 12/18

1. Good morning, Cougs! Today is Thursday, December 18th. Please continue to walk right and talk right while speaking at a level 1 volume in the halls, and remember that it takes all of us to ensure an inclusive, safe, and respectful school community where everyone can thrive socially and academically. Words matter, and character counts!

 

2. The Holiday Store is open today and tomorrow. You will need a pass so keep exhibiting expected behavior in the lunch room so you can shop till you drop. Passes will be given out over the last two days based on expected behavior over the past week.  

 

3. The girls' basketball season starts up after the holiday break, and registration is open. Register now and get all of your registration forms and physicals completed so you are ready to go. We are excited to get the girls' basketball season rolling and encourage any 7th & 8th graders who are interested to sign up and participate. 

 

4. Also, our winter social is today. Please listen carefully to the expectations. At 2:45 those going home, please exit to your bus or parent pick up.

Those staying for the Social:

  • There is no leaving and coming back.  Once here, you are here until 4:25 unless released to a parent.

  • Backpacks to lockers

    • Make sure you grab all you will need (tickets, $, etc.)

    • Hallways will be closed until Social is over.  You will not be able to access your backpack/belongings during the social.

  • Pre-Sales tickets line up outside main doors WITH YOUR WRISTBAND ON

    • Please create a single file line to one side of the entryway, please wrap around the building as needed and keep voices and bodies under control ;)

    • You must have a wristband on to get in. 

    • ABSOLUTELY NO TICKET SALES at the door.

  • Once all students are either on their way home or lined up for the social, we will start to let students in.  

  • Social is over at 4:25.  

    • Students taking the activity bus need to quickly get their items and report to the buses.  

    • North & South bus routes on the entryway window in front of the office window.
