1. Good morning, Cougs! Today is Monday, January 20th. As we move forward into 2026, let's continue to honor the legacy of Dr. King by exhibiting kindness, respect, and being inclusive of others. It takes all of us to step up as leaders, to be upstanders, and to address discrimination and injustice wherever it is witnessed.
2. Keep walking right and talking right while speaking at a level 1 volume in the halls, keep your hands and feet to yourself, keep your cell phones and wireless headphones/earbuds away, and show respect for yourself, your peers, and our amazing KPMS staff. It takes all of us to ensure an inclusive, safe, and respectful school community where everyone can thrive socially and academically. Words matter, and character counts!
3. Tomorrow night is our winter beginning band concert at 7pm in the gym. Come on out to show our support for the time and effort of our beginning band members.
4. Thank you for putting forth your best effort during iReady testing. We will take the winter Reading i-Ready this Thursday and operate on our testing bell schedule. Continue to bring your fully charged Chromebook and a growth mindset to each new learning opportunity and finish the semester strong. Celebrate the growth you've made so far and be intentional about looking at your stretch growth goal to drive future improvement. Keep leaning into each day with intentionality, focus, and resilience in everything you do!
