1. Good morning, Cougs! Today is Monday, January 26th. The Seahawks are Super Bowl-bound! Kenneth Walker called me last night and wanted me to remind all KPMS Cougars to keep walking right and talking right while speaking at a level 1 volume in the halls, keep your hands and feet to yourself, keep your cell phones and wireless headphones/earbuds away, and show respect for yourself, your peers, and our amazing KPMS staff.
2. Please take a moment to reflect and remember that words hold power. Discriminatory behavior of any kind will not be tolerated and will result in corrective action. Discriminatory words and actions have no place in our school or community. Remember that words matter and character counts!
3. Tomorrow is our first home girls' basketball game. Come on out and cheer on the Lady Cougars! Remember, you may not leave campus and return, and please show positive sportsmanship and expected behavior to ensure a positive experience for all.
4. This week is KPMS spirit week! Lean into your creativity and show off that Cougar Pride! Today is Movie Character Day, Tuesday is Blackout Day, Wednesday is Generations Day (6th grade -children, 7th - adults, 8th grandparents), and Thursday is Cougar Pride Day to sport our school colors.
5. Thank you for giving your best effort during the winter i-Ready Reading assessment over the past couple of weeks. You will have the opportunity to finish or make up the test in CA today and tomorrow. Keep leaning into each day with intentionality, focus, and resilience in everything you do!
