1. Good morning, Cougs! Today is Tuesday, January 27th. Please continue to walk right and talk right at a level 1 volume in the halls, keep your hands and feet to yourself, and keep your cell phones and wireless headphones/earbuds away. Two areas of focus for lunches are to have a seat at a level 1 volume and to throw your garbage away. We will open the student store back up when lunch expectations are met. Make it happen and show respect for yourself, your peers, and our amazing KPMS staff.
2. Please take a moment to reflect and remember that words hold power. Discriminatory behavior of any kind will not be tolerated and will result in corrective action. Discriminatory words and actions have no place in our school or community. Remember that words matter and character counts!
3. Tonight is our first home girls' basketball game. Come on out and cheer on the Lady Cougars! Remember you may not leave campus and return and please show positive sportsmanship and expected behavior to ensure a positive experience for all.
4. Continue to lean into your creativity and show off that Cougar Pride during spirit week! Today is Blackout Day, tomorrow is Generations Day (6th grade -children, 7th - adults, 8th grandparents), and Thursday is Cougar Pride Day to sport our school colors.
5. Today, you will have your final opportunity to finish or make up the i-Ready test in CA. Keep leaning into each day with intentionality, focus, and resilience in everything you do!
