1. Good morning, Cougs! Today is Wednesday, January 28th. This is a reminder that the student store will be closed today. We are hopeful students can adjust to the expectation focus areas of remaining seated at a level 1 volume, throwing garbage away, and being responsible for cleaning up any accidental spills, and transitioning to class after lunch by walking to the right and talking at a level 1 volume. Make it happen, remind your peers, and show respect for our common spaces and school environment. We believe in you!
2. Please take a moment to reflect and remember that words hold power. Discriminatory behavior of any kind will not be tolerated and will result in corrective action. Discriminatory words and actions have no place in our school or community. Remember that words matter and character counts!
3. Last night, our Lady Cougars displayed great effort and grit on the court. They showed great team camaraderie and a never-give-up attitude all game long. It is evident that this team has come together with a common goal to improve daily and play with courage in the face of adversity. We are so proud of their effort and grateful for their representation of our Cougar values. Our next home game is tomorrow night vs. Harbor Ridge. Come on out and cheer on the squad!
4. Continue to lean into your creativity and show off that Cougar Pride during spirit week! Today is Generations Day, and tomorrow is Cougar Pride Day. Sport those school colors as we will be having our quarter two spirit/awards and recognition assembly in the morning and operating on our AM assembly bell schedule that begins the day in 1st period.
