1. Good morning, Cougs! Today is Thursday, January 29th. The student store will remain closed today. We are hopeful students can adjust to the expectation focus areas of remaining seated at a level 1 volume, throwing garbage away, and being responsible for cleaning up any accidental spills, exhibiting expected behavior during honor time, and transitioning to class after lunch by walking to the right and talking at a level 1 volume. Make it happen, remind your peers, and show respect for our common spaces and school environment. We believe in you!
2. This is a reminder that the health room is not available to students during lunch without permission from a lunch supervisor. If you need to access the health room during lunch, please see a supervisor and they will provide you with a pass.
3. Please remember to complete the January Sense of Belonging survey. It will take you 2-3 minutes and provides valuable data to inform decisions that impact our school community. Do it!
4. Tonight our Lady Cougars take on the Falcons of Harbor Ridge. Come on out and cheer on the team and remember you may not leave campus and return for after school activities. Go Cougs!
5. Heads up...Board Game Club is canceled today.
6. Shoutout to Gabo Duran-Diaz, who will be performing at the Commencement Bay Music Educators Vocal Solo Festival at Stadium High School this Saturday. Congratulations to Gabo and good luck! We know you will represent KPMS with Pride!
7. Valen Pop sales begin on Monday during honor time. The cost is $1 for delivered Valen Pops with your name attached, $2 for a locked Valen Pop that can be unlocked at the bookkeeper's window on February 13th for $1, or $5 for a super locked Valen Pop that will remain completely anonymous. Get them while supplies last.
8. Great job leaning into spirit week and showing off that Cougar Pride. We will be having our quarter two spirit/awards and recognition assembly this morning and operating on our AM assembly bell schedule that begins the day in 1st period.
