Announcements 3/17
1. Good morning, Cougs! Today is Tuesday, March 17th. Please continue to walk right and talk right while keeping to a level 1 volume and staying within your personal bubble. The student store is open today. Remember that the student store and nutrition services snack bar is a privilege. It is expected that students take responsibility for keeping the cafeteria clean, socialize at a level 1 volume, stay seated until released for honor time unless throwing garbage away, and transition from honor time to class at a level 1 volume, knowing that classes are in session for students who have second lunch. Also, please use our restrooms for their intended purpose and report acts of vandalism. You can do this by filling out an incident report or emailing Mrs. Kinney or Mr. G.
2. Please take a moment to reflect and remember that words hold power. KPMS is a hate-free environment, and any form of discriminatory language or behavior will not be tolerated and will result in corrective action. Please go out of your way to be an upstander and address or report discriminatory language or behavior if you witness it. It takes our entire school community to stand up to discrimination and to develop a safe and inclusive culture where everyone has the opportunity to succeed. Words matter, and character counts!
3. Our first home girls soccer and boys basketball games are today after school. Join us as we cheer on our student athletes after school. This is a reminder that you may not leave campus and then return for after-school events. Please remember to exhibit PRIDE while displaying positive sportsmanship by cheering for our team and not against the other team. Go Cougs!
