Announcements 3/20
1. Good morning, Cougs! Today is Friday, March 20th. Please continue to walk right and talk right while keeping to a level 1 volume and staying within your personal bubble. It will be frosty during second lunch, but the frost has melted away for first lunch. Please remember that the student store and nutrition services snack bar are a privilege. It is expected that students take responsibility for keeping the cafeteria clean, socialize at a level 1 volume, stay seated until released for honor time unless throwing garbage away, and transition from honor time to class at a level 1 volume. Also, please continue to keep your cell phones and wireless headphones/earbuds stored away. Make it happen, Cougs!
2. Also, please ensure you are consuming food in the cafeteria and not eating in the hallways or classroom. Food items left behind are attracting ant trails and is one of the reasons we expect food to be eaten in the cafeteria.
3. We are so proud of the growth, effort, and grit our student athletes put on display this week. Our girls soccer team fought hard against Kopachuck yesterday and are improving with each game. Some notable players are Shelby and Malina, who were beasts at defense. Destiny Watkins worked hard and saved several shots on goal. The three goals in the game were scored by Vada and Maddy. Awesome job girls, they are continuing to improve and play hard with every match! Our next game is Tuesday at home versus Goodman, so come out and support your Cougars!. Go Cougs!
4. Attention KPMS Cougars! It’s time to show how much Cougars Care! From March 23 through April 3, we are holding a schoolwide food drive competition to help support families in our community. Bring your canned and non-perishable food donations to your Cougar Academy help us reach our goal of filling the café with cans! Expired food or glass containers are not allowed.
The more we collect, the better the rewards!
