1. Good morning, Cougs! Today is Monday, March 23rd. This month, we recognize National Disability Awareness Month. This is a time to honor the strength, perseverance, and achievements of individuals with disabilities. It’s also an important reminder that creating an inclusive school community is everyone’s responsibility. At KPMS, we strive to ensure that every student feels valued, supported, and that they truly belong. Let’s continue to lead with empathy, celebrate differences, and build a culture where everyone can thrive. Did you know that disabilities can be visible or invisible? Some people may need support in ways we can’t always see. Let’s lead with kindness and understanding and remember that words matter and character counts!
2. Please continue to walk right and talk right while keeping to a level 1 volume and staying within your personal bubble. The student store is open for both lunches today. A huge shoutout to 1st lunch for doing an amazing job of exhibiting expected behavior on Friday! It is expected that students take responsibility for keeping the cafeteria clean, socialize at a level 1 volume, stay seated until released for honor time unless throwing garbage away, and transition from honor time to class at a level 1 volume. Also, please continue to keep your cell phones and wireless headphones/earbuds stored away. Make it happen, Cougs!
3. We are so proud of the growth, effort, and grit our student-athletes put on display last week. Our final home game is tomorrow versus Goodman, so come out and support your Cougars!. We will be on the road at Harbor Ridge this Thursday. Go Cougs!
4. Attention KPMS Cougars! It’s time to show how much Cougars Care! From March 23 through April 3, we are holding a schoolwide food drive competition to help support families in our community. Bring your canned and non-perishable food donations to your Cougar Academy help us reach our goal of filling the café with cans! Expired food or glass containers are not allowed. The more we collect, the better the rewards!

Level 3: Levels 1 and 2 AND The entire school votes on Mr. G’s outfit for a day!
