Announcements 3/27
1. Good morning, Cougs! Today is Friday, March 27th. We continue to recognize National Disability Awareness Month and honor the strength, perseverance, and achievements of individuals with disabilities. It’s also an important reminder that creating an inclusive school community is everyone’s responsibility. Belonging means feeling accepted for who you are. Each of us plays a role in making that happen, and we are stronger when we support each other. Let’s continue building a school where everyone feels safe and valued. Remember that words matter and character counts!
2. Please continue to walk right and talk right while keeping to a level 1 volume and staying within your personal bubble. The student store is open for both lunches today. Keep taking responsibility for keeping the cafeteria clean, socializing at a level 1 volume, staying seated until released for honor time unless throwing garbage away, and transitioning from honor time to class at a level 1 volume. Also, please continue to keep your cell phones and wireless headphones/earbuds stored away. Make it happen, Cougs!
3. Our student-athletes displayed tremendous growth throughout the games yesterday. It was evident that the work they put in day in and day out is paying off. We are so proud of their effort, grit, and resilience and excited to see them finish the season strong at their final regular season game at Kopa next Tuesday. Go Cougs!
4. Attention KPMS Cougars! It’s time to show how much Cougars Care! From March 23 through April 3, we are holding a schoolwide food drive competition to help support families in our community. Bring your canned and non-perishable food donations to your Cougar Academy help us reach our goal of filling the café with cans! Expired food or glass containers are not allowed. Remember that reward levels are based on volume and that volume = l x w x h.

Level 2: Level 1 AND Mr. G gets pied in the face!**
Level 3: Levels 1, 2 AND The entire school votes on Mr. G’s outfit for a day!
5. The lost and found will be donated after school on Monday, March 30th.
6. There is an ASB Student Council meeting in the commons during CA this morning. Please have your rep walk to the gym right after announcements.
