Announcements 4/2

1. Good morning, Cougs! Today is Thursday, April 2nd. April is the Month of the Military Child. This month, we honor the strength, resilience, and sacrifices of students whose families serve in the military. Being part of a military family means showing strength in times of change. We are proud of the perseverance our military students demonstrate every day and commend the resilience they model for our school community.
2. Please continue to walk right and talk right while keeping to a level 1 volume and staying within your personal bubble. The student store is open for both lunches today. Keep taking responsibility for keeping the cafeteria clean, socializing at a level 1 volume, staying seated until released for honor time unless throwing garbage away, and transitioning from honor time to class at a level 1 volume. Also, please continue to keep your cell phones and wireless headphones/earbuds stored away. Make it happen, Cougs!
3. We are so proud of our student athletes and coaches for the growth and effort they've displayed all season, and can't wait to watch them cap it all off with the District Tournament tomorrow. Girls' soccer begins at 4:30 pm at Roy Anderson Field at PHS, and boys' basketball begins at 5 pm in the PHS gym. Go Cougs!
4. This is the final week of the Cougars Care Food Drive. Remember that every can counts and moves us closer to the leveled rewards. Let’s work together to fill the café and show our community that Cougars Care!
