Announcements 5/8

1. Good morning, Cougs...today is Friday, May 8th. This month, we celebrate the rich cultures, histories, and contributions of AAPI communities that have shaped our country and our world. Diversity makes our communities stronger. By learning about different cultures, we build understanding, respect, and connection. Today, we celebrate Yo-Yo Ma, a world-renowned cellist whose music has brought people and cultures together across the globe.
2. Please continue to walk right and talk right while keeping to a level 1 volume and staying within your personal bubble. It is a Frosty Friday today so continue to take responsibility for keeping the cafeteria clean, socializing at a level 1 volume, staying seated until released for honor time, and transitioning from honor time to class at a level 1 volume. This is a reminder that your toys should remain in your locker or toy box at home. This was shared with families on Friday and it is expected that you engage in learning and leave toys, stuffed animals, etc. at home. Also, please continue to keep your cell phones and wireless headphones/earbuds stored away. Make it happen, Cougs!
