Announcements 5/27

1. Good morning, Cougs...today is Wednesday, May 27th. We continue celebrating the rich cultures, histories, and contributions of AAPI communities that have shaped our country and our world. Today we pause to reflect on how kindness and curiosity help us build connections across cultures. We honor Paralympic athlete Jessica Long, whose perseverance and achievements inspire people across the world.
2. Please continue to walk right and talk right while keeping to a level 1 volume and staying within your personal bubble. The student store is open today so continue to keep voices to a level one, walking in from honor time and to class, and taking responsibility for keeping the cafeteria clean. This is a reminder that your toys should remain at home or in your locker. Energy drinks of any brand are not allowed at school. Please consume those at home if your family is good with that. Also, please continue to keep your cell phones and wireless headphones/earbuds stored away. Make it happen, Cougs!
3. "Tickets are for sale to attend the KPMS Drama Club Production of 'When Bad Things Happen to Good Actors" ' a comedy that proves, when it comes to live theatre, everything that can go wrong, will go wrong, and it will be hilarious. Shows are this week, Friday at 6pm, and Saturday at 2pm. You can buy your tickets at the Bookkeeper's office. $3 for students, $5 for adults. Bring your family and come!
4. Our amazing Cougar PTSA is holding its Spring Market fundraiser this Saturday from 9am-3pm. Come on out and get some shopping in before you head to the Drama Club production.
5. Today, our student athletes take to the track and field at PHS to compete in the district championship track and field meet. We continue to feel so proud of the effort, growth, and perseverance that our student-athletes have displayed all season long and can't wait to watch them represent Cougar Nation today. Come on out and cheer on our amazing team at Roy Anderson Field starting at 3:30pm. Go Cougs!
