Announcements 6/9

1. Good morning, Cougs...today is Tuesday, June 9th. The student store is closed today, so please remind yourselves and others to walk right and talk right while keeping to a level 1 volume and staying within your personal bubble. Continue to keep voices to a level one, walking in from honor time and to class, and taking responsibility for keeping the cafeteria clean. This is another reminder to 6th and 7th graders that expected behavior is directly connected to your eligibility to field day and for 8th graders the Lake Helena field trip and 8th grade dance after the Moving on Ceremony. Finish strong and make it happen, Cougs!
2. Come on out tonight at 6:30 to celebrate our amazing KPMS Bands at their final concert of the year. You will get to enjoy the sights and sounds of our beginning, intermediate, advanced, and jazz bands as they display the growth they've made throughout the school year.
3. Remember that the Drama and Game club had their final meetings last week, so if you are a member, there will be no more meetings this school year. Also, the last day of Art Club is today, June 9th, the last day of Cougar Catch Up is this Thursday, June 11th, and the final run of the activity bus will be June 18th.
4. Remember, as we near Chromebook check-in days, take time to get them cleaned up, pull all stickers off, and ensure you have your charger ready to turn in on these dates. Fines will be assessed and are expected to be paid before you leave for summer break.
5. Remember to spend your points while they last. Accounts will be zeroed out on June 16th, and you won't have access to your Chromebook after Monday and Tuesday, and next week. The last day to pick up items will be Wednesday, June 17th.
6. Attention 8th graders! Lake Helena permission slips have been sent out via ParentSquare. Please ensure this is signed so you can attend the field trip. If your eligibility status is still up in the air, sign it anyway so you don't have to scramble at the last minute. Also, if you are planning to attend Henderson Bay HS, please send Mr Sarsfield or Ms More an email for an invite pass to meet staff on Thursday, June 11th, during CA.
7. This is a reminder to join us this Thursday at 5:30 pm at KPMS for STEAM Night! Come on out and enjoy free pizza, watch some safe explosions, and enjoy all things STEAM.
8. Lastly, we will be joined at both lunches today by the PHS boys and girls basketball teams as they share important dates for upcoming camps and opportunities to grow in your basketball skills. Please show respect to our high school student-athletes and ask questions.
