Announcements 9/2

1. Good morning, Cougs! Today is Wednesday, September 2nd, the first day of what will be an amazing 26/27 school year. This week, let's celebrate progress, not perfection. Growth takes time, and every step forward matters. Let’s support one another in reaching our goals this school year and remember that words matter and character counts!
2. Please remember to walk right and talk right while keeping to a level 1 volume and staying within your personal bubble. Take responsibility for keeping the cafeteria clean, socializing at or below a level 2 volume, staying seated until released for honor time unless throwing garbage away, and transitioning from honor time to class at a level 1 volume as classes will be in session. Also, please continue to keep your cell phones and wireless headphones/earbuds stored away and out of sight. Make it happen, Cougs!
3. This is a reminder that this year we get to have a fully tech free lunch! Please ensure your MacBook Neo is stored safely away in your locker before going to lunch. Use lunch and honor time to connect with peers, ask questions and learn about one another, and enjoy some tasty cuisine.
4. It is not too late to register for fall sports. Participation in athletics is a great way to build relationships, meet friends, and get connected to our school community. Remember that cross country is open to all grades and girls volleyball and boys soccer are open to 7th and 8th graders. Come out and be a part of something special this season!
