Announcements 9/21
1. Good morning Cougs! Today is Monday, September 21st. We continue recognizing suicide prevention month throughout September and are sharing small ways to build a school culture where everyone belongs. Remember that the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is free, confidential, and available anytime. Call or text 988 if you or a friend need support.
2. Please remember to walk right and talk right while keeping to a level 1 volume and staying within your personal bubble. Please throw garbage away, remain seated in the cafeteria, and walk to honor time quietly. Please continue to keep your cell phones and wireless headphones/earbuds stored away and out of sight. Remember to remain behind the yellow line when waiting for buses and that riding the bus is a privilege and unexpected behavior may mean you are suspended from bus ridership for a period of time.
The PBIS store will be available to pick up items that you've purchased before school and during lunch starting on Wednesday, September 30th. It will be open on Wednesday and Thursday the first week and then will be open on Wednesdays every week. You will line up and pick up your items at the bookkeepers window in the commons. Keep exhibiting expected behavior and earning those Cougar PRIDE points!
3. This week you will be taking the iReady Math assessment in your math classes so continue bringing your fully charged MacBook. The data is used to determine scheduling decisions and is crucial in helping teachers know how to support you as the year progresses.
4. Some clubs and Cougar Catch-Up are starting this week. Remember to get your permission slip in the main office.
- Art Club begins tomorrow and Cougar Catch-Up begins tomorrow as well and will run every Tuesday and Thursday each week.
- Game Club and POC Club begin this Thursday, September 24th.
- Makers Club begins next week on Tuesday, September 29th.
- Cooking Club via zoom begins on Tuesday, October 13th.
For all after school clubs, please meet your advisor in the commons after school. We will continue to share dates of clubs as they start up over the next couple of weeks.
5. A huge shoutout to the players, coaches, and fans that made for a memorable 2026 Fish Bowl. The atmosphere was electric and our Seahawks brought the trophy back to where it belongs. Thank you for following expectations and making the event so special!
