Announcements 10/30

1. Good morning Cougs! Today is Friday, October 30th. As we wrap up the official Disability Awareness and Bullying Prevention Month let's remember that our understanding and the way we treat one another matters always. Remember to be inclusive and kind, to operate as an Upstander always, and to resolve conflict in a way that supports the dignity of others. It takes all of us to shape a school community centered on developing a sense of belonging.
2. Please remember to walk right and talk right while keeping to a level 1 volume and staying within your personal bubble. Remember to keep your cell phones and wireless headphones or earbuds need to be stored away and out of sight. Almost all students are doing a great job caring for the Macbook Neos. Continue that care and remember that everything looked up is filtered through the Securly system and alerts admin, counselors, district office staff, and parents/guardians. Please use the Neos for academic purposes when prompted by your teacher.
3. Creative Writing Club is established and will begin next Wednesday, November 4th. Remember to get a permission slip in the main office and have your ASB fee paid.
4. Congratulations goes out to 8th grader Rose Barnard, 7th grader Kimberly Durrance, and 6th grade students Halie Myers and Harper Siller. They are your new grade level representatives and will be working alongside our current ASB officers as they plan activities for the year. Thank you for demonstrating courage and leadership by stepping up to support your peers and your school community.
5. As we wrap up conference week with our final half day, remember that you will attend periods 1-6 with no CA.
Remember...all students need to go to their 6th period class.
